His skills were born from an early love of reading, nurtured during his work as a newspaper columnist and honed throughout an English focused college education at The University of Houston and The University of Texas Pan American. His love for technology has left him with a practical knowledge of Internet communication strategies and a familiarity with the still developing Internet culture. After a stint in sales, he joined Millar Hollander. Since joining the company he has learned the ins and outs of media buying and has discovered how to adapt his skills to the professional and marketing worlds.

Miguel CollisGraphic Designer / Web SpecialistFor more than six years Miguel has worked with some outstanding consumer clients, providing them with intelligent solutions and engaging design.He was a designer for Freedom Newspapers where he collaborated with other designers and editors to produce designs for special section projects. He also was employed with the University of Texas, Brownsville where he designed the College of Liberal Arts web site. His duties also included generating content for the web site by writing feature sorties, covering live events and updating the site regularly.Miguel graduated with a distinguished diploma under the Tech-Prep program, as well as an honorable mention for following the fine arts career track at Lopez High School. He was a member of the Technology Student Association club for four years, two of which he held the office of president at Lopez High School. While in the TSA Club he participated and placed 1st in local and state competitions for 3D design, 2D imaging, graphic solutions, and digital imaging.

His accounting practice has been in operation for approximately eight years and has provided services to Millar Hollander, Inc. for two. Rick graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio in May of 1986, with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance. He returned in1992 to complete accounting course requirements to sit for the CPA examination approximately 32 hours of accounting. He maintained a GPA in accounting of 3.9 on a 4.0 scale and later passed a portion of the CPA exam. He has over ten years of industry and approximately 12 years public accounting experience.
